Being creative just IS for me. I come from a creative and crafty family - all of us being creative one way or another. For me, it was always about paper. I didn't have a Barbie doll when I was little, I had paper ones... and yes, there were tears on days when the little tabs would rip off the clothes.
My love affair with paper continued through high school, where I studied art and graphics, then on to Uni. It’s been more than 25 years since beginning my Graphic Design career, working as Corporate Designer for large Global companies, more than 15 years since freelancing "on the side” and 10 years since creating Design Squared. Being free to work collaboratively to create visually exciting but workable design solutions is my mantra.
I joined Stampin' Up! 15 years ago ... it’s a marriage made in heaven between my design skills and love of beautiful paper things. Stampin' Up!’s unique range of products, from coordinated coloured items such as inks, card stock and accessories to stamp sets and dies/punches – making it so easy to produce quality art.
A chance to meet new people and share my passion for design encouraged me to join Stampin' Up!'s demonstrator family. I just love sharing my creative skills and helping my customers realise their crafty potential. I run monthly papercraft classes in-person, or by mail (online) – you can see my events calendar here. I also like to have fun and share ideas, tip and techniques online – join me online on Facebook or Instagram.
